New Chair of Morison Global Asia Pacific

Morison Global is delighted to announce the election of Normita Villaruz (Villaruz, Villaruz & Co; Philippines) as the new Chair of the Morison Global Asia Pacific Board of Directors. Normita assumes the Chair position after Harsh Bhuta (Bhuta Shah, India) completed his 3-year term as Chair of the region in November.

Morison Global would like to give special thanks and recognition to Harsh for serving a successful three years as Chair. Harsh will remain on the Asia Pacific board and will continue to work with other board members to drive the region’s activities and initiatives.

Normita, the Founder of Villaruz, Villaruz & Co will bring a wealth of experience to the role, having held numerous positions with, and received awards and recognition from various professional bodies and organizations including the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Certified Public Accountants in Public Practice.

On Normita’s election, Kenny Young, CEO of Morison Global, said, “We extend our warmest congratulations to Normita on her election as Chair of the Morison Global Asia Pacific Board. Normita is an active member of the region and has contributed with enthusiasm since joining the Asia Pacific board in November 2022, and I am confident she will excel in her role as Chair.”
